The Swedish Association of heating, sanitary and ventilation manufacturers (De Svenska VVS-Fabrikanterna) is looking at the possibility to establish closer relations with the end-users. The main reasons for this development are: 1. the developments in the construction sector 2. wholesalers increasing focus on private label 3. the limitations of wholesalers to accommodate alternative distribution routes. "It is a new situation with many new suppliers in the market. We end up further back and lower down on the wholesaler shelves as a result of their private labels, and that has forced us to react", says Arne Eriksson - VP of VVS-Fabrikanterna. |
